DVM Carrelage, a tiling contractor in Crissier (VD), ran its job sites on paper, phone calls and memory. The first deliverable was an offline iPad app for site foremen: PIN login, the day's jobs, progress photos and end-of-job reports. The second is a cockpit for the director, where Claude turns site conversations and work orders into quotes, mission orders, jobs and invoices. The director reviews each one before it goes out.
What it does
- Six deliberately simple screens, designed for gloved use on a landscape iPad
- Works offline on site and syncs photos and validations when back online
- Quote → mission order → job → validation → invoice in one cockpit
- AI reads unstructured input; the director confirms; deterministic code writes the documents
- Migrated from a free Google Sheets stack to Supabase once the scope grew
